Archiving Policy
The International Journal of Economics, Management and Social Science (IJEMSS) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. To achieve this, the journal implements the following archiving strategies:
1. Digital Archiving
All published articles are stored and preserved in multiple digital formats to ensure their safety and availability over time. IJEMSS utilizes the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which includes automated backups and secure data management systems.
2. Institutional Repositories
Authors are encouraged to deposit their published articles in institutional repositories, subject-based repositories, or personal websites. Articles can be archived with full citation and a link to the official version on the IJEMSS website.
3. LOCKSS and CLOCKSS
IJEMSS supports participation in digital preservation services such as LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS), which ensure distributed archiving among participating libraries and institutions worldwide.
4. Self-Archiving
Authors are permitted and encouraged to self-archive the final published version of their article (publisher's PDF) in:
-
Institutional or university repositories
-
Author's personal website or blog
-
Public repositories such as ResearchGate or Academia.edu
Proper citation and a link to the original publication on the IJEMSS website must be provided.
5. Permanent Availability
IJEMSS ensures that all published content remains permanently available and accessible online, even in the event the journal is no longer published or maintained.
IJEMSS believes that reliable and long-term digital preservation enhances academic transparency, protects scholarly records, and supports global knowledge sharing.
