Author Guidelines
Authors who wish to submit their manuscripts to the International Journal of Economics, Management and Social Science (IJEMSS) are required to follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth and efficient review and publication process.
1. Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically via the journal's submission system or email as specified on the journal's website.

The submission must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
2. Language

Manuscripts can be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

The text should be clear, concise, and grammatically correct. Authors are advised to have their manuscripts professionally edited if necessary.
3. Manuscript Structure
All manuscripts should be organized as follows:

Title (concise and informative, in sentence case)

Author(s) and Affiliation(s)
-
Include full name, institutional affiliation, and email address. The corresponding author should be clearly indicated.

Abstract (150–250 words)
-
Written in English regardless of the manuscript's main language. It should summarize the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.

Keywords (3–5 keywords)

Introduction

Literature Review (if applicable)

Methodology

Results and Discussion

Acknowledgements (if any)

4. Formatting Guidelines

Manuscripts should be typed in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.
-
Use A4 page size, 1-inch margins, Times New Roman 12 pt, and 1.5 line spacing.

All pages should be numbered consecutively.

Tables and figures should be clearly labeled and placed within the text near where they are first cited.
5. Citation and References

Use APA (American Psychological Association) 7th edition citation style.

References must be listed alphabetically and only include sources cited in the manuscript.

Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero.
6. Plagiarism Policy
All submitted manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with a similarity index above 25% (excluding references) will be returned to authors or rejected.
7. Peer Review Process

IJEMSS uses a double-blind peer review process.

Manuscripts will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.

The final decision will be made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewers’ recommendations.
8. Publication Fee
IJEMSS may apply a publication fee to cover editorial and publication costs. Details regarding the fee (if applicable) will be provided on the journal's official website.
9. Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right to publish the work under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
