Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the financial behavior of college students, particularly in saving activities through various digital banking services. This study aims to analyze the savings behavior of college students through the perspectives of financial literacy, lifestyle, and digital banking utilization. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, incorporating a literature review of various previous studies that discuss college students' financial behavior in the digital era. The results of the study indicate that financial literacy is a crucial factor in shaping students' ability to manage income, prioritize needs, and develop consistent savings habits. Furthermore, changes in digital lifestyles influence savings behavior due to the increased use of cashless transactions, the convenience of online shopping, and consumer tendencies. The use of digital banking offers positive opportunities through ease of access, automatic savings features, and transparency in financial management, but it can also increase the risk of consumer behavior if not accompanied by sound financial understanding. This study demonstrates that the combination of adequate financial literacy, a controlled lifestyle, and wise use of digital banking can improve college students' savings behavior in the digital era.
