The Influence of Job Stress and Work Motivation on the Performance of Gojek Driver Partners in Surakarta City

Abstract





This study aims to analyze the effect of work stress and work motivation on the performance of Gojek driver partners in Surakarta City. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The population in this study is all active Gojek driver partners operating in Surakarta City. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique of 100 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the SPSS program. The results show that: (1) work stress has a negative and significant effect on the performance of Gojek driver partners in Surakarta City; (2) work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Gojek driver partners in Surakarta City; (3) work stress and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of Gojek driver partners in Surakarta City.
