The Influence of Work Motivation and Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance at PT Sari Warna Asli Garment

Abstract





This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT Sari Warna Asli Garment. A quantitative research approach with a survey method was employed. The study sample consisted of 30 employees selected using a saturated sampling (total sampling) technique from one of the company's work units. Data were collected through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability and were subsequently analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that: (1) work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (t = 2.469, p = 0.020); (2) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (t = 2.231, p = 0.034); and (3) work motivation and job satisfaction simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance (F = 9.814, p = 0.001), explaining 42.1% of the variance in employee performance (R² = 0.421). These findings suggest that strengthening employee motivation programs and improving job satisfaction management are essential strategies for enhancing employee performance in a sustainable manner.
